Here is a great video below that illustrates the strange world of your digestive biota (sum total of all the organisms) that live in your gut. It then turns to the specialized denizens of the termite gut that allow it to digest the most common organic molecule on Earth, cellulose. A pretty good survival strategy in my humble opinion. A biota factoid: there are ten times more organisms that live on and in you than the number of your own cells. You are a mothership.
