Termitophiles!
Here is a very interesting article on termites from a researcher in Florida. He became noteworthy in the insect world by recently identifying a merging of two termite species into a “Super Termite”. He notes the fact that termite lineage has been traced to ancient roach ancestors who adopted highly social organization and an internal biome that adopted commensal organisms that digest wood into sugars. A good move it turns out.
